Factory
Reset Protection (FRP) is a security feature introduced by Google to Android
Devices which run on versions starting from 5.1 (Lollipop) and higher. If you
sign in to your Google account and set up your device for syncing, factory
reset protection is automatically activated. Active Factory Reset Protection
feature protects your android device by preventing unauthorized user from using
your device.
If
unauthorized user resets android device which has active Google account,
Factory Reset Protection prevents continue usage. In order to continue using
the device, user is supposed to sign in with the Google account that was
previously synced on the device.
In
case you forgot your Google account credentials such as email address and
password, you can use Factory Reset Protection removing file to remove account
verification on your smart phone.
